Terms of Use
1. The service
BillKori is a free, web-based bookkeeping app. You use it to record your business's sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments and party balances, and to read reports. By opening an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details when you register. One account holds one private book.
- Keeping your password secret is your responsibility, and so is what is done from your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password at once.
- Keep your email address correct — password-reset links are sent there.
3. Your data
- What you write in your book is yours. We process it only to run the service — storing it, showing it to you, and producing reports and downloads.
- You can download all your data and delete your account at any time from Settings.
- How data is used and protected is set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful;
- try to get into another person's account or see their data;
- overload the servers or use automated programs to access the service;
- try to break the service's security;
- register with false details or in someone else's name.
5. Records, not advice
BillKori is a tool for writing down and adding up. It is not legal, tax or professional accounting advice. Every entry in the book is yours, and checking that dealings, dates and amounts are right is your responsibility. For tax or legal matters, check with your own accountant or adviser.
6. Availability and changes
We try to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available — maintenance, technical faults or internet problems may interrupt it. We may change or discontinue features; we will try to give notice before significant changes. That is why we suggest downloading your own copy of your data regularly.
7. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, temporarily or permanently, if these terms are broken or the service is abused.
8. Limit of liability
The service is provided free, ‘as is’. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or lost profit arising from use of the service, loss of data, wrong entries or interruptions. Liability that the law does not allow to be excluded is not affected.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will publish them on this page with a new date. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
11. Contact
