Privacy Policy
The accounts of your business are sensitive. This page explains what information BillKori collects, why, how it is kept — and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed — we cannot see your real password), your mobile number, and your language choice.
- Business details: business name, address, phone, logo, and the note printed at the foot of your bills.
- Book entries: the sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments you record; names, phone numbers and addresses of parties (customers and suppliers); bank account names and numbers; employee names and salaries; the owner's own deposits and withdrawals.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and logs of sign-ins and important actions — to keep accounts secure and stop abuse.
- Messages: anything you send through the contact form.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: showing your book and producing reports and downloads.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To send email — only what is necessary, such as email verification and password reset. No advertising or promotional email.
- To help you and to improve the service.
We do not sell your book data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Cookies
We use only necessary cookies: one that keeps you signed in, a security cookie that guards forms against forgery, and one that remembers your language. We currently use no advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Third parties
- The site's fonts and icons load from Google Fonts and jsDelivr; those services can see your IP address.
- An email provider (to send email) and a server-hosting provider (to store data) act on our behalf.
- We do not give your data to anyone else except where the law requires.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your book and profile are removed from the live database immediately; it may take some time for them to disappear from the server's routine backups. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to help you.
6. Security
- Passwords are stored hashed.
- The connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Every account's book is separate; one user cannot reach another's data.
- Repeated wrong passwords at sign-in lock the attempt for a while.
- In the admin panel, support staff see only account details (name, email, business name) and counts of entries — not the transactions inside a book. People who run the server and database do have technical access, which is used only for maintenance, security and support.
No one can promise perfect security on the internet, though. Please use a strong password, keep it secret, and download your own copy of your data regularly.
7. Your rights
- See and correct: you can view and change your details in Settings and on the book's pages.
- Download: Settings → ‘Download my data’ gives you the whole book as an Excel file.
- Delete: Settings → ‘Delete my account’ removes the account and all its data.
- Questions or complaints: tell us on the contact page.
8. Other people's information
The details of customers, suppliers and employees that you write in your book are for your business's work. Using them lawfully is your responsibility.
9. Age
The service is for business use and is not intended for people under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will publish it on this page with a new date.
